Liver Fellowship
The purpose of the Fellowship is for the Fellow to learn through a structure based on daily lectures, reporting from individual workstations with subsequent group discussion. The programme is flexible and adaptable to the participants and their need and requests but as a starting point will be general.

Description
During this fellowship CT/MR technique as well as the different pathologies of the liver will be shown, in an interactive way, trying to illustrate the best technique according to the different clinical fields. Special emphasis will be given to CT and MR, especially liver specific MR contrast media. Pathologies will be shown either in the hepatic parenchyma either in the biliary context. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis, staging and assessment of therapeutic response will be illustrated.
Learning Objectives
- 1st objective: optimization of liver imaging technique
- 2nd objective: diagnostic approach to focal liver lesions
- 3rd objective: diagnostic approach to biliary diseases
Programme will include
- Lectures on CT and MR technique, CT and MR contrast media, hepatic and biliary pathologies
- Individual reporting with supervision of Mentor
- Group case discussion of the reported cases

Giovanni Morana, MD, is Director of the Radiological Department at General Hospital in Treviso (Italy), a 1000 beds hospital which covers a large population area, after a long experience at the University of Verona.
His main fields of interest are hepatic and pancreatic imaging, either with CT and especially MRI. He has been focused on clinical application of CT and MR contrast media since the beginning of his experience.
He is a recognized expert in these topics, and he has been lecturing in many international meetings, especially ECR and ESGAR, but also at ISMRM, ESMRMB. He has been an invited speaker in China, Australia, South Africa, Kuwait, Oman, Hong Kong and many European countries.
He was President of ESGAR MEETING in Venice in 2011
