Description

During this fellowship CT/MR technique as well as the different pathologies of the liver will be shown, in an interactive way, trying to illustrate the best technique according to the different clinical fields. Special emphasis will be given to CT and MR, especially liver-specific MR contrast media. Pathologies will be shown either in the hepatic parenchyma or in the biliary context. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis, staging, and assessment of therapeutic response will be illustrated.

TMC Academy fellowships are held in a virtual classroom environment on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions making use of their camera and microphone in order to recreate the face-to-face experience.

In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.

This radiology course is organised by TMC Academy, an EACCME Trusted Provider.

Testimonials:

"Giovanni Morana is a very knowledgeable body radiologist and a gifted lecturer who leverages his long scientific and clinical experience in his excellent lectures, peppering them with real world and examples and valuable nuggets of advice. The TMC virtual online case reading platform allows for immediate re-reinforcement of the lessons from the lectures, complementing the lectures perfectly. I would recommend this course to any radiologist seeking knowledge and insight into MRI liver imaging...”
Dr Stan Buckens, Dutch radiologist (Fellow, March 2023)

"I have been working as a General Radiologist with an interest in GI radiology for 8 years. I always wanted to update my knowledge in hepatic imaging. I have previously attended ESGAR course on Liver imaging which improved my basic heaptic radiology skills. I recently attended fellowship course in Liver imaging organised by TMC and had great expectations. The course exceeded my expectations and helped me immensely in understanding the hepatic imaging in more detail. It had given me confidence how to approach and report more complex studies. I definitely recommend this course to all the radiologists interested improving their skills in Liver Imaging.”
Dr Venkata Narasimha Kumar Pulupula, Consultant Radiologist, Chester, United Kingdom (Fellow, October 2022)

"Very well-organized online fellowship felt I am really attending a structured educational activity live. All facilities were available to maximize the active interaction with the mentor, and colleagues. Study materials were well prepared ahead of the start of the event and the Online PACS gave it unique experience viewing the cases same as in a clinical setup. So grateful for the huge efforts by the organizers.”
