Evis Sala
Evis Sala is Professor of Radiology and Director of the Radiology Training Program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Chair of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS in Rome. She previously held senior roles at the University of Cambridge, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Weill Cornell Medical College. Her research focuses on integrating quantitative imaging with multi-omics and AI for cancer characterization. Dr. Sala has received multiple honors, including RSNA Honored Educator Awards, Fellowship of ISMRM, and honorary memberships from RSNA and the Japanese Society of Radiology.
Laura Oleaga
M.D. Ph.D.
Dr. Oleaga is renowned both nationally and internationally for her work in Radiology education and in the clinical applications of imaging in brain and head and neck tumours. She was the Head of the Radiology Department at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (Spain) from 2009 until 2022 and External auditor within the ETAP programme (European Training Assessment Programme). Laura held the position of Professor of Radiology at the University of Barcelona from 2008-2022.
Avneesh Chhabra
M.D. MBA. FACR
He is a Professor of Radiology and Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also the director of Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is double boarded in Radiology residency and fellowship trained in musculoskeletal radiology with Exe. MBA in healthcare leadership and management. He is a fellow of American college of Radiology and serves as a counselor of Texas Radiological Society. He is also Soft tissue RADS chair for American college of Radiology. Clinical interests: Dr Chhabra’s clinical expertise and his interests include magnetic resonance neurography (MRN), sports imaging, rheumatology and sarcoma imaging, and related image-guided interventions. Dr. Chhabra actively runs a patient care clinic at UT Southwestern Medical center and translates his research into clinical practices by deploying novel MRN techniques to map peripheral neuropathy in patients preparing for surgery, and to direct perineural nerve injections in patients with neuropathies. Dr. Chhabra serves as a committee member on national and international societies. Dr. Chhabra is frequently invited to lecture nationally and internationally at conferences, webinars, and venues throughout the United States and around the world, including presenting the keynote addresses to the American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, Ontario association of Radiologists, Chinese, Korean, South American and Gulf MSK societies, and the Tummala Madhusudana Rao Endowment Oration to the Asian Musculoskeletal Society. He also received many scholarly awards, including the SSR young investigator award, GERRAF fellow, the Stephen B. Milam Award, Tummula oration, D- magazine top Doc award, and the ISS mentorship recognition award. He has authored more than 370 peer-reviewed publications, two textbooks and 32 book chapters. He has crafted and published OT-RADS, ST-RADS, and NS-RADS. Dr. Chhabra is on multiple editorial boards, e.g. The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Journal of computed assisted tomography, European Radiology, and BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders including deputy Editor of European Radiology. Alex Rovira
M.D.
Dr Rovira is the Director of the Section of Neuroradiology at University Hospital Vall d’Hebron, and of the Neuroradiology Research Group at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Barcelona (Spain). He is currently chair of Referral Guidelines Subcommittee of the European Society of Radiology, Honorary Lecturer at University College of London, and member of the Steering Committee of MAGNIMS (European Multicenter Collaborative Research Network on MRI in Multiple Sclerosis). He is on the editorial boards of Neurology, Neuroradiology and Canadian Association of Radiologist Journal. He also served as President of the European Society of Neuroradiology (2016-2018), as President of the Spanish Society of Neuroradiology (2009-2015), and as Chairman of MAGNIMS (2012-2018). Dr Rovira has authored/co-authored more than 560 articles (Scopus; total citations 26.000; h-index: 85)
