Emergency Stroke Imaging
In this online webinar, Dr. Ronni Mikkelsen (MD, INR) will take you through the stroke setup at Aarhus University Hospital, where they mainly use MRI. He has a large experience in getting every bit of information out of the sequences to maintain speed while getting necessary information about the infarct core and penumbra, without doing unnecessary sequences. This webinar will focus on the basic sequences used in stroke, what to look for, and how to communicate the information to your Clinical counterpart.

Dr. Mikkelsen main interest is treatment of stroke and other acute vascular conditions of the central nervous system.
He has extensive experience in conveying his knowledge of vascular diseases as well neuroanatomy and is both co-course director for the national neuroradiology course for the radiology residents in Denmark, as well as a long-standing lecturer at the department of biomedicine at Aarhus University, where he teaches neuroanatomy.
His contribution to the medical literature includes being a co-author of the TENSION study.
