This training is accredited by EACCME with 9 CME credits This fellowship course provides deep insights into the ischemic stroke MRI findings. You will learn to optimise and execute the MRI brain stroke protocol, covering essential sequences for identifying ischemic changes and infarcts.
This training focuses on a practical approach to managing stroke patients in your radiology workflow using MRI. There will be an emphasis on how to extract as much information as you can from your basic sequences as well as how this correlates with more advanced imaging like perfusion.
It will encompass both the basic aspects of MRI interpretation, but also, in part, focus on which findings are important to underline for patients who need mechanical thrombectomy and how to communicate these to your colleagues to optimise the stroke workflow.
Online Course - Learn Comfortably from Home or Office
Join Unilabs Academy’s online fellowships in a dynamic, interactive Zoom classroom where you'll be part of a small, supportive group. Engage directly with a radiology expert, ask questions freely, make mistakes without judgment, and receive personalised feedback.
Sessions are recorded, allowing you to review and revisit the material at your own pace after the training.

Testimonials:
🗨 “I'd like to thank the mentor Dr. Mikkelsen for a very well structured presentation covering key anatomy, pathology, and the practical use of MRI sequences. The information was clear, well prepared, and very useful for everyday work.”
Dra. Petar Panayotov (Fellow, October 2025)
🗨 “The MRI in Stroke Imaging Fellowship was an excellent and highly practical course. It provided a clear framework for interpreting stroke MRI and strengthened my confidence in applying MRI findings in acute stroke management. I highly recommend this fellowship to radiologists involved in neurovascular imaging.”
Dr. Mariana Gomes (Fellow, October 2025)
