This training is accredited by EACCME with 10.5 CME credits Get your PET CT course CME certification in 2026. This live, mentored fellowship covers PET/CT imaging, including the principles of Nuclear Medicine, radiopharmaceuticals, and appropriate clinical indications.
There will be a particular emphasis on the use of FDG PET/CT in Oncology, including cancer staging, treatment response assessment, and recurrence detection, while other PET tracers and their clinical applications will also be illustrated.
PET/CT will be illustrated by several examples, showing either the physiological biodistribution of the radiopharmaceuticals or variants and pitfalls.
Furthermore, a number of clinical cases will be shown, especially of FDG PET/CT in Oncology but also many others, including PSMA PET/CT in Prostate Cancer.
Each session will start with a lecture. After the lecture, you will be challenged with practising on real-life anonymised key cases from the Unilabs Academy teaching file. Reporting templates, including recognised standardised rating scales, will be used to help write adequate reports.
The individual case readings will be followed by Dr. Francisca Redondo's interpretations, questions, and comments, along with a group discussion.
Unilabs Academy online radiology fellowships are held in a virtual classroom environment on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions using their camera and microphone in order to recreate the face-to-face experience. Online live sessions are recorded so that participants can review on their own time following the training.
In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.
