Fausto Labruto is originally from Italy, where he completed his medical studies. He obtained his PhD in traumatology at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, where he later became Associate Professor of Radiology. He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters within the field of Emergency Radiology and former Head of Ultrasound at a major Swedish hospital. For the last nine years, he has headed the Emergency Radiology services at Telemedicine Clinic. His main interests are vascular and abdominal emergencies, as well as whole body trauma. A long-standing mentor at Unilabs Academy, Dr. Labruto has delivered numerous radiology fellowships and educational programmes, inspiring radiologists from around the world.
