Acute Neuroradiology Tips and Tricks
Radiologists are routinely asked to interpret CT, CTA and MRI images of patients with acute neurological symptoms such as loss of consciousness, paresis and headache. Because of the large variety of underlying conditions which may cause these symptoms, it is helpful to interpret images using pattern recognition. This helps to narrow the radiological differential diagnosis, and helps with deciding on what additional imaging is needed. In the webinar, this way of analyzing acute cases will be demonstrated. In addition, some helpful tips will be given for acute interpretation of non-enhanced CT scans in an acute setting.
