This intensive 3-day MRI course is designed to enhance your expertise in the use of MRI for diagnosing and monitoring multiple sclerosis (MS) and other inflammatory demyelinating disorders of the central nervous system, such as NMOSD and MOGAD.

The course combines lectures, hands-on MRI case studies, and group discussions to provide a comprehensive understanding of these complex conditions.

This diagnostic imaging training is tailored for (neuro)radiologists and neurologists who are interested in specializing in inflammatory demyelinating disorders. The course ensures an intimate setting with limited participants that fosters personalized learning and active engagement.

TMC Academy radiology online courses are held in a virtual classroom on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions using their camera and microphone to recreate the face-to-face experience. In these small groups, all questions can be asked, you can make mistakes, and learn from each other with the support of the radiologist mentor.

Head of the Neuroradiology Section in the Radiology Department of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital (Barcelona, ​​Spain).
Dr Rovira is the Director of the Section of Neuroradiology at University Hospital Vall d’Hebron, and of the Neuroradiology Research Group at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Barcelona (Spain). He is currently chair of Referral Guidelines Subcommittee of the European Society of Radiology, Honorary Lecturer at University College of London, and member of the Steering Committee of MAGNIMS (European Multicenter Collaborative Research Network on MRI in Multiple Sclerosis). He is on the editorial boards of Neurology, Neuroradiology and Canadian Association of Radiologist Journal. He also served as President of the European Society of Neuroradiology (2016-2018), as President of the Spanish Society of Neuroradiology (2009-2015), and as Chairman of MAGNIMS (2012-2018). Dr Rovira has authored/co-authored more than 560 articles (Scopus; total citations 26.000; h-index: 85)
