Common soft-tissue and bone tumours of the hands and feet are characterised through their imaging appearances.

Description
MRI technique and characteristic appearances are examined for ganglion cysts, giant-cell tumour of tendon sheath, fibromatosis, lipoma, peripheral nerve sheath tumour, and glomus tumour. Common benign osseous lesions include enchondroma, osteochondroma, and mineralised bone lesions.

- Select appropriate imaging techniques for masses of the hands and feet.
- Recognise common benign soft-tissue tumours by location and MRI appearance.
- Differentiate frequent benign bone tumours and identify features that require further assessment.

Nenad Popic, MD, graduated from the Medical University of Belgrade, Serbia. After completing the medical education, he moved to Norway where he did his residency in diagnostic radiology with a special interest in musculoskeletal radiology, and continued as MSK radiologist at Akershus University Hospital in Oslo.
