Description
Neuroimaging in epilepsy is approached through hippocampal anatomy, protocol selection, and recognition of hippocampal sclerosis. Advanced methods and imaging patterns associated with malformations and phacomatoses that can underlie seizures are also introduced.
Learning Objectives
- Apply a dedicated MRI protocol for the investigation of epilepsy.
- Recognise hippocampal sclerosis and other common structural causes of seizures.
- Identify imaging patterns associated with cortical malformations and phacomatoses.
