Description
Renal lesion assessment is compared across ultrasound, CT, CT urography, MRI, and MR urography, with emphasis on enhancement patterns. Renal cell carcinoma, urothelial carcinoma, Wilms tumour, atypical neoplasms, hereditary cancer syndromes, secondary malignancy, and common mimics are covered.
Learning Objectives
- Select an appropriate imaging pathway for a suspected renal mass.
- Characterise renal lesions using enhancement, morphology, and anatomical origin.
- Differentiate common malignant renal tumours from atypical lesions and important mimics.
