This emergency radiology fellowship course of 3 half days includes an overview of the main mechanisms of injury, examination trauma CT protocols , reading techniques with tips and tricks and reporting guidelines including the injury scoring scale of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST).
Each module includes several short lectures. After the lectures, you will be challenged with practising on real anonymised key cases from the Unilabs Academy teaching file. After the individual case readings, there will be additional review lectures followed by a ‘Questions and Answers’ session.
Besides the interactive lectures and case rounds, the mentor also provides a large amount of extra learning material, in the form of recorded short lectures on related topics, articles and links.
Dr. Labruto is a highly skilled and experienced radiologist and a passionate lecturer and teacher who creates a dynamic learning experience.
Unilabs Academy online radiology fellowships are held in a virtual classroom on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions using their camera and microphone to recreate the face-to-face experience. In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of Dr. Labruto.
